Remember it's Book Character Day on Friday. Come to school on Friday dressed up as your book Character.

Mighty Machines - Incline Plane

Today we learnt about Incline Planes.  We made some incline planes out of cereal boxes and then tested them using a toy car. We discovered that the taller the incline plane the further the car travelled.

Parrots Reading Group

The Parrots have been reading about different types of Sea Habitats. They have shown what animals live in different Sea Habitats using PicCollage.

New Zealand Shake Out

On Thursday we are joining with the rest of New Zealand for Shake Out drill. Remember if you're in an Earthquake:

Mighty Machines

We have begun our Science Unit Mighty Machines. We had to classify different objects into whether we think they are a machine or not. Here is our thinking. I wonder if our thinking will change as we learn about Simple Machines.

Kelly Sports

On Friday we have our Kelly Sports day from 9am - 12.30pm. Come dressed in blue and white to represent Scotland!!! The cost for the day is $4. Parents you are invited to come down and cheer for Scotland!
