Reuben's visit to Room 8

Reuben’s visit to Room 8.
Nibble, nibble, nibble. Today amazing Room 8 had a special visitor called Reuben. He was such a cute lamb. She came here because we had never seen a baby lamb, but I have.

First Nikki, Robyn and of course Reuben entered our wonderful class. Robyn was telling us some things about Reuben. Reuben was a cute little boy lamb. He didn’t have a mum because his mother kept pushing him away. The reason why his great mother pushed him is because she had another boy lamb. His mum gave birth to Reuben  5 short days ago. He had a pair of sharp horns as sharp as someone’s tooth. He was wearing two nappies and he had no teeth.

Next Reuben got to have a walk around the class. He was quietly nibbling on Frederick’s jacket, Jonathan’s jacket and my navy jacket. “Yuck!” He was walking on me, Sheena and Sandhya hardly! He was still wandering around the room and some eager children wanted to pat him. Reuben was just too adorable.

After that Sandhya got to feed Reuben his milk and from his bottle. One of his nappies fell off! ¨Ha! Ha! Ha!¨ But he had it changed to his new nappie, same as the other one.  When he finished changing into his nappie that had a special hole for his tail he still had a teeny bit time to walk around and everyone had a pat. They went home quickly and we started our wonderful, great recounts.

I felt excellent like I was very, very rich. I thought that it was the best visit and I would like to see some more lambs or sheep next time or whenever!!!!! “I really would like to see a some more please!” Please let it be a fluffy lamb, because he wasn’t that fluffy. (Well sort of.)Only a little bit.

Reuben’s visit to Room 8

Mrs Taege told  us that we were having a special visitor. I wondered who it would be. Nicky was outside Room 8 and she was holding something as white as a sheet of washing. I thought it was a bunny and that’s when I noticed it was a cute fluffy lamb.

Then Nicky and Robyn came inside with Reuben. He was a boy lamb and a twin. His mother didn’t care a bit about Reuben because she was busy looking after Reuben’s twin. I thought that was a really mean thing to do to a lamb that was just 1 day old. Reuben had no teeth so he couldn’t harm us. He eats 3 to 4 times a day. Reuben was wearing two nappies.

After Robyn told us about Reuben she let him go.Reuben started scampering about and walking into people’s lap.She really liked Sandhya. Maybe because she liked the smell of her.Just then Reuben’s nappy fell of so Nicky said she would show us how to put on an nappy and that’s when I noticed there was a hole in lamb’s nappies because its tail needs a hole to go into.

Finally Reuben looked like he was hungry. So Robyn told Sandhya  if she wanted to feed Reuben because  she had been really brave when Reuben had started scampering on her and Sandhya said okay. She fed him some milk from a nice cold bottle. The lamb drank  it up in 1 minute. It was still drinking when all of the milk had gone. What a weird thing to do.

I felt  sorry for Reuben because he had no mother to
care for him. When he left I got over with it. I was still thinking about him when it was Reading.
